Scholarships
AOU–University of Essex grants merit-based and socially-based scholarships to students enrolled in first-, second-, and third-cycle study programs, based on their academic performance and their individual or family financial circumstances.
Scholarships are awarded to at least five percent (5%) of enrolled students each academic year. The equivalent total amount may be distributed among a larger number of students.
The university prepares a list of scholarship recipients and the corresponding amounts awarded, which is submitted to HQA for review at the end of each academic year.
Military Service Deferral
Male students of Aegis Omiros University are entitled to a military service deferment equal in duration to that granted to students of public universities in Greece and accredited institutions abroad.
Students concerned are required to inform the Secretariat of the university about any conscription-related matters so that the necessary documents may be issued both by the partner educational institution and the Ministry of Education.
All documents must then be submitted to the competent military recruitment office.
