Library and Study Room
A well-organized library operates within the facilities of Aegis Omiros University, housing thousands of academic books and scientific journals.
The library is regularly enriched with new editions of books, e-books, scientific journals, and manuals. Additionally, through the University’s partner institutions in the UK, students have access to electronic libraries that provide thousands of digital books, academic journals, research papers, and articles.
The library’s reading room, equipped with computers and internet access, offers a quiet and dedicated space where students can study without distractions, work on group projects, and meet with their mentors.
Biology Lab
AOU–University of Essex has developed a modern, fully equipped laboratory space designed in accordance with national and international standards to support the training of students in the undergraduate Biology program.
The laboratory includes equipment such as a state-of-the-art fume hood, PCR workstation and PCR thermal cycler, gel documentation system, photometers, incubators and water baths, microscopes, centrifuges, and a wide range of consumable reagents, all aimed at ensuring excellence in student training.
Conference Hall
Aegis Omiros University features modern event halls used for lectures, seminars, performances, ceremonies, award events, exhibitions, and more. These halls regularly host prominent figures from the academic, scientific, and artistic communities.
The space is equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology, including sound and microphone systems, projectors, screens, lighting consoles and spotlights, computers, and wireless internet (Wi-Fi) access.

Biosensors Smart Lab
Aegis Omiros University has created the state-of-the-art Biosensors SmartLab in collaboration with iMotions, providing academics as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students with the opportunity to conduct high-standard research projects.
iMotions is used worldwide by leading universities and educational institutions, as well as by some of the largest global companies—including Unilever, GSK, and P&G—along with many other international clients who research neuroscience and Human Behavior Data Analytics to achieve greater ease, efficiency, and validity in everyday life.
Makers’ Lab
Aegis Omiros University is the first non-state university in Greece to establish a creative interactive laboratory. Its facilities now include a fully equipped Maker’s Lab, which is available for use by the students of the University’s School of Informatics.
The Maker’s Lab is equipped with high-tech tools such as 3D printers and laser cutters. This interactive laboratory enables students to specialize under real working conditions and to explore scientific concepts and ideas in practice.
