The undergraduate program in Software Development focuses on the creation of applications, websites, and software systems, equipping students with the theoretical and practical skills necessary to pursue a successful career in a high-demand field with significant growth prospects.

During the first year, students follow a common curriculum shared with the other streams within the Computing program. From the second year onward, they specialize in Software Development, attending courses that cover, among other topics, mobile application development, human-computer interaction, network management, and operating system configuration.

In addition, students gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies such as cybersecurity, object-oriented programming, information systems architecture, and network infrastructures.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to design and develop high-standard software, identify and solve technical problems, work effectively in teams, and apply agile methodologies like Agile in real-world development environments.
